It is very important to note that an essential role of the specialists is to help identify any children who may need either extra help or extra enrichment.
While the specialists may meet with individual children on a get-to-know-you basis to help screen for unique abilities or needs, we want to be very clear that no formal placements or formal instruction will ever begin without written parental permission.
We treasure you, the parents as partners in your child’s education. We pledge to do our best to keep the two-way communication lines wide open!
Keeping the early identification line and placement line very clearly drawn is an important part of this communication.
