A total of 22 units are needed to graduate, with 17 credits to become a senior, 12 credits to become a junior, and 6 credits to become a sophomore. For the purpose of AIMS testing, the grade status is determined by the year of entry in school (cohort year).
Students are encouraged to take additional credits for enrichment, a broader background, and post high school preparation. A student must have attended for one full semester during the senior year and meet all other requirements for graduation from PHS.
Participation in the commencement ceremony is a privilege. Students who choose to participate must submit a completed commencement packet.
