Starting in the first quarter and on a weekly schedule, the teachers will meet with the parents of three to four students in 30 minute conferences to discuss academic progress. Normally the conferences will take place on Tuesdays according to the following schedule:
- Conference 1 7:30-8:00
- Conference 2 3:00-3:30
- Conference 3 3:30-4:00
For students who are in need of continued academic progress monitoring, the parent/teacher conference format will be followed throughout the school year. For students who are doing well and not in need of a formal parent/teacher conference, teachers will stay in contact with the parents via emails, letters, and phone calls. (A parent may always request a conference if desired.)
