Breakfast and Lunch Menus

Prescott Unified School District participates in the National School Child Nutrition Program. Nutritious meals are served every day. Meals served are low in saturated fat, cholesterol, sodium and sugar in accordance with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Daily we offer salad selections and fruit and vegetable choices in addition to the choices listed on the menu. Every month menus are distributed by classroom teachers. We hope you will encourage your child to select a wide variety of foods.

Washington School has a breakfast program available to all students. Breakfast is served starting at 7:45 a.m. Students must finish eating so that they are to class on time at 8:30 a.m. If students arrive at school too late for the Breakfast Program there is a “snack break” available during the first morning recess time. The price is the same as the regular breakfast meal.

The National School Child Nutrition Program is a federally subsidized program and your student(s) may be eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals. A meal application is included in this packet. All information on the application is confidential. Students receiving free or reduced-price meal benefits are not identified in any manner.
