Student Government

Washington has an organized student council, consisting of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Activities of the student council are arranged so they enhance, rather than interrupt the academic program. Student officers are elected once a year and consist of the Student Body President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and classroom representatives and alternates. Parent permission and recommendations are required for students to be involved in student government. All Student Council meetings will be scheduled outside the regular class time.
